Class 3

What an incredibly enjoyable Spring term we have had!

The children have blown me away with their amazing work and progress in Literacy! They wrote a fantastic set of letters to send to our chosen author Julia Donaldson (fingers crossed we receive a reply). They have really got to grips with instruction writing and have written excellent instructions to make toast and koi carp decorations. To celebrate we will be having a toast party!

The children have thoroughly enjoyed our topic on patterns and have made beautiful Rangoli patterns using coloured sand. Please come and have a peek at all of our topic work on display!

A highlight in Numeracy was turning our classroom into a shop, the children had to ensure they had the right amount of money to buy their chosen items and the children on the tills had to count out the correct change. This has really helped us to solve money related word problems.

We had great fun in French practising our new vocabulary, with a game of pass the parcel! We can now all say when our birthday is in French!

Class 3 are a wonderful group of children and every day is a pleasure to work with them.

Keep up the hard work Class 3!
