Class 2

Welcome to Class 2's homepage.  The Autumn term has got off to a great start.  The transport topic proved to be a huge success and the children really enjoyed using the text 'The Train Ride' for our own work and creating their own hot air balloons among many other activities that were planned for this week.  

Our learning has then continued with our topic of 'Around the world'. The children have been learning facts about Australia, China and Spain. They have also been thinking about what they wanted to find out about Egypt and other countries.  

As part of our RE the children have been learning about Christianity and we had a really successful trip to the Cathedral where the children learnt lots about the people that worked there, the Church furniture and had great fun in the activity room.
